Pseudonymization rules

The privacy and the security of your patients' data is paramount. With EasyMedStat, you are sure that your data is protected with a high level of security.

Every time you add a patient, the following measures are taken:

  1. First name and last names are hashed: they are not stored in a database
  2. Only the initials are stored and visible to you or any of your colleagues
  3. The birth date is pseudonymized by keeping only the month and the year of birth. This is why you will see that all your patients seem to be born on the 1st of the month (01/11/1968)
For patients younger than 2 years at the time of inclusion, we also keep the day of birth because this information could be useful

Picture pseudonymization

Pictures can also be pseudonymized using anonymization masks.
