To change the type of a variable, your data needs to be converted from one format to another.
To change a variable type:
- Go to menu "Variables" > "All variables"
- Select the variable you want to convert
- Click on "Convert to another type"
- Follow the instructions
Currently, the following type changes are supported:
- List to Numeric
- Numeric to Yes-no
- Numeric to List
