Resume a Questionnaire That Has Not Been Completely Answered

Modified on Thu, 20 Mar at 2:38 PM

When a patient starts a questionnaire but does not complete it, they can resume from the last unanswered question instead of starting over.

1. Automatic Resume

  • When the patient returns, the questionnaire automatically starts from the last answered question.
  • All previously completed responses remain saved.

2. Privacy Protection

To prevent unauthorized access:

  • The “Previous” button does not display past answers.
  • If someone else resumes the questionnaire, they cannot navigate back through prior responses.

3. Authentication Requirement

Before resuming, the patient must confirm their identity (e.g., by entering their birth date).

4. Completion Status Updates

  • "Partially completed" – If the patient stops before finishing.
  • "Completed" – Once all questions have been answered.

Important Notes

  • Patients always resume from the last answered question, even if there are previous unanswered ones.
  • If the questionnaire structure changes (e.g., questions are added or removed), the system still resumes from the last answered question.
