Accessing Freeze/Stop Options

After logging into your EasyMedStat account, you’ll see the home page with all your created or shared series. To freeze data or stop inclusions for a particular series:

  1. Click the “...” in the Actions tab next to the series you want to manage.
  2. Select Your Option from the menu that appears.

Note: Freeze data and Stop inclusions are only available to the series creator.

Stop Inclusions

By selecting Stop Inclusions, you will:

  • Prevent any new patients from being included in the series.
  • Allow existing patients to still be edited.
  • Continue performing statistical analyses and accessing data.
  • Record this action in the audit trail.

Freeze Data

By selecting Freeze Data, you will:

  • Prevent new patient inclusions and exclusions.
  • Lock all patient data, preventing any edits.
  • Continue performing statistical analyses and accessing data.
  • Record this action in the audit trail.

Define a Date of End of Inclusions

To inform your team that the end of inclusions is approaching:

  1. Go to the Parameters of the series.
  2. Click on Study > End of Inclusion and set the desired date.

This will notify all users of the impending end of inclusions but will not prevent new inclusions until you choose to stop them.

Resuming Inclusions or Unfreezing Data

To start inclusions again or unfreeze data:

  1. Click the “...” in the Actions tab next to the relevant series.
  2. Select either Resume Inclusions or Unfreeze Data.
