How is the Completion Percentage Calculated?

Modified on Fri, 7 Mar at 3:36 PM

The completion percentage of patient records and categories is calculated based on the proportion of completed responses relative to the total number of mandatory variables.

Mandatory and non-mandatory variables

For each category, the percentage is determined by dividing the number of answered questions by the total number of mandatory variables.

Non-mandatory variables are excluded from this calculation.

If a non-mandatory variable is left empty, it does not impact the completion percentage.

Example:

A category contains five variables, including one non-mandatory variable.

If all four mandatory questions are completed but the non-mandatory one remains empty, the completion percentage will still be 100%.

Conditional displays

If a category or a variable is hidden because of a conditional display, it will not be used for the completion percentage calculation.
